In 1954, Alphonse Lordo founded Lordo’s Diamonds, with his wife, Nina, working at his side. As young boys, their sons Mike and Jim joined them on weekends and in the summer months, learning about jewelry and the culture of a family business. Now, more than six decades later, Mike and Jim continue the family business, and Lordo’s sense of family extends through the Lordo’s team, with each member reflecting the store philosophy that Alphonse adopted years ago:
